A thorough redesign of the two-stroke 125 that replaced the three-speed version, with a cleaner new engine, four-speed gearbox and a new frame mixing pressed and tubular steel. The rear gained a modern swingarm; finish was a black frame with a red tank. Roughly 20,000 were built.
